cherry ripe bites recipe

CHERRY FILLING:

1 cup Morlife Dried Sour Cherries, soaked in hot water

1 1/2 cups Morlife Dried Cranberries, soaked in hot water

2 cups desiccated coconut

1/3 cup melted coconut oil

2 tbsp rice malt syrup

1/4 tsp salt

CHOCOLATE COATING:

2/3 cup melted cacao butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup Morlife Certified Organic Cacao powder

pinch of salt

1. Drain the berries and blend the cherry filling in a high powered food processor until it combines together into a sticky dough. Press evenly into a lined 10x20cm loaf tin. Freeze for 5-6 hours

2. Prepare the chocolate coating by whisking together the ingredients with a fork until smooth

3. Remove the slice from the freeze and cut into even sized bars

4. Dip each bar into the chocolate and coat evenly. Transfer to a lined baking tray. Coat each bar twice. Freeze the coated bars for 1 hour before consuming

5. Keep bars stored in an air-tight container in the fridge
