High Protein S'Mores Baked Oats

These S’mores inspired baked oats will make breakfast feel like dessert!

Using our deliciously creamy Chocolate Fudge Plantiful Protein, this recipe has over 25g of protein to keep you full all morning with the added nutritional boost of iron, zinc, potassium and more!

Morlife High Protein S'Mores Baked Oats

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup rolled oats (blended), or oat flour
1 scoop Morlife Chocolate Fudge Plantiful Protein powder
1 banana
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
Dark chocolate chips
Mini marshmallows
Graham crackers/malt cookies (optional, to garnish)

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (or 160°C fan forced) and grease a ramekin with spray oil or butter to prevent sticking to the edges.
2. Add the blended oats (or oat flour), banana, egg, Chocolate Fudge Plantiful Protein powder, baking powder, maple syrup and vanilla to a blender and mix until smooth (about one minute).
3. Pour into the prepared ramekin, top with dark chocolate chips and mini marshmallows (as many as you’d like!) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean (or with just a few crumbs on it).
4. OPTIONAL STEP - turn your oven setting to GRILL for the last 2-3 minutes of the baking process to toast the top of the marshmallows before serving.
5. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before eating and enjoy!
