Commonwealth Games Delays
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held April 4th to 15th is the largest sporting event to be staged in Australia this decade, and the largest ever to be held on the Gold Coast with over 600,000 visitors expected prior, during and after the Games.
During the games there will be temporary changes to the transport network on the Gold Coast including temporary road and lane closures, changed traffic conditions, parking and loading zone restrictions and the introduction of the Games Route Network (GRN). These changes will undoubtedly have an impact on our courier's ability to deliver parcels to you. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with delay expectations or timeframes as this event is unprecedented; however, a minimum one day delay is anticipated and longer delays may occur in locations close to events. For road closures in your local area please get out the 'Get Set For The Games' website
We use multiple courier companies who may contact you anytime between 7 am and 8 pm weekdays to discuss your delivery, so it is important that your correct telephone number is used when checking out. If placing orders via telephone please confirm your telephone details are current and correct. As always please use the courier online delivery tracking that will be emailed to you once you place an order as the primary source of information as to the progress of your delivery once it is despatched.
As always, we will continue to dispatch orders as soon after the order is placed on the Morlife site. Once the order is picked up from our courier company, any unanticipated delays must be made directly with the courier company.
