6 Healthy Eating Cafes For You To Visit In Bali
Here’s what we know: Australians love Bali. Only a short flight away, Bali is our exotic neighbor, full of culture, surf and beauty. One element of travelling that we love is discovering new places especially those little gems you might not have found unless your friend gave you the tip. Bali’s dining scene has grown so much in recent years and it’s never hard to find a quality meal in an array of cuisines. Eating healthy is of course, an imperative in our daily lives, but travelling can make this difficult when we don’t know the cafes to go to and our bodies suffer as a result. Luckily Bali is full of amazing healthy spots to eat! To help you out, we’ve listed some of our favourite healthy places to eat. Consider it a tip from one friend to another so you can go on holiday and have your Goji berries too!
1. Sister Fields
Seriously. Good. Food. We love Sister Fields glorious menu serving up Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Located in Seminyak this trendy café strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory options. Don’t forget to try their acai bowl topped with Goji berry granola or Polenta Fries as a side!
2. Potato Head Beach Club
It wouldn’t be a proper list if we didn’t mention this place. An attraction itself with delicious cocktails, beachfront infinity pool and sunbeds – we could spend the whole day at Potato Head (we suggest arriving early!). The Potato Head food menu holds its own, full of amazing options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. We enjoyed the three eggplant salad and soft shell crab.
3. The Deck
If you happen to visit the nearby island of Nusa Lembongan during your Bali trip be sure to visit The Deck. This little waterfront café is part of the Batu Karang Resort but is welcome to outside guests also. The Deck offers a small but fresh breakfast and lunch menu. Sit back overlooking crystal blue water and sip on the tastiest fresh coconut we found! Try one of their healthy shots too to keep your nutritional intake in check – Carrot & Turmeric Liver Detox shot was our pick.
4. Revolver Espresso
This cowboy saloon themed café uses organic produce when possible and offers up the best coffee in Bali. Situated along the main street in Seminyak. The Smith & Wesson smashed avocado on the all day Breakfast Menu is a favourite.
5. Café Organic
We could eat at Café Organic time and time again, we visited three times in the span of 10 days! This light filled vegetarian/vegan has all the things we love – smoothie bowls, salads, chia puddings, fresh juices and epic smoothies and a relaxed vibe to match.
6. Saigon Street
Expect amazing salads, an array of rice paper rolls, curries and our go-to, Pho! This new Vietnamese restaurant nestled between Seminyak and Petiteneget is just down the street from Café Organic and close to Potato Head Beach Club.
