Eat This Recipe To Help Fight Fatigue
There’s nothing quite as refreshing and satisfying as a smoothie bowl, especially one that you know your body is going to thank you for, like this one we whipped up! We’ve seen smoothie bowls come in all shapes, sizes and colours but many don’t have the added benefits your body really needs. By combining our Berry Clean Liv'a Detox powder mixed with frozen fruits and other goodies, you’ll be getting in a heap of benefits including helping your body to fight fatigue.

Before you make a start on your smoothie bowl, make sure you’ve got a frozen banana ready. We like to keep a stash of bananas in a zip lock bag in the freezer handy for spontaneous smoothies and recipes! TIP: be sure to peel your bananas before freezing them. We made the mistake of not doing so once before and we shed a little tear when our frozen banana, skin and all, turned into mush. Blend your smoothie bowl ingredients together in a blender until smooth; you may need to add liquid for a smoother texture if you’re finding the mix to be too icy. We recommend adding in coconut water or even a plant based milk if you’re wanting it to be a bit creamier. Once you’ve got your smoothie bowl ingredients all blended up and ready to go, pour it into a bowl and then you can begin to place on your toppings.
We’ve gone with fresh fruits for our topping, but of course feel free to use your favourites, cereals and nuts are always a winner for some crunchy texture (you should check out our Goji Antiox Toasted Muesli With FOS!). We also had a bit of fun with our strawberries and used a shape cutter to make the pretty star shapes. Shape cutters can easily be found at any home wear or baking store. Along with our strawberries, we also had blueberries, cherries and raspberries plus a few edible flowers to give it a bit of glam (they can easily be found at a gourmet supermarket)!

BERRY BEET LIV'A DETOX SMOOTHIE BOWL
INGREDIENTS
SMOOTHIE BOWL
1 frozen banana
2 cups frozen raspberries
1 heaped tbsp. Morlife Berry Clean Liv'a Detox®
1 tsp. Morlife Certified Organic Beetroot Powder
Splash of coconut water or plant-based milk (if needed)
TOPPINGS
Handful fresh strawberries, sliced
Handful fresh cherries
Handful blueberries
Handful fresh raspberries
STEP BY STEP
- Blend smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender until smooth. Carefully add extra coconut water or plant-based milk to make the consistency runnier or creamier if too icy.
- Pour into a bowl and garnish with topping ingredients.
