Who doesn’t love Apple Pie? Yes, it does sound very ‘treaty’, but at the end of the day, it’s a really simple and delicious, healthy creation!
Serves 2
Ingredients
½ cup of oats
2 cups of almond milk (can use coconut, oat, macadamia milk or any nut milk)
1 cup of chopped Granny Smith apple (chop in roughly 2cm pieces keeping skin on for added health benefits)
¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of allspice
Tiny pinch of salt
1 heaped tablespoon of Morlife® Unflavored Marine Beauty Collagen
1 teaspoon of maple syrup (or sweetener of choice, I swapped out the maple for 1/3 teaspoon of the Morlife® Certified Organic Monk Fruit)
½ cup of your fave nuts to sprinkle on top
Another pinch of cinnamon
And a lucky last drizzle of maple syrup on top (optional)
Method
- Pop your pot onto a medium heat, to that add your oats, almond milk, Granny Smith. Then add in your spices, salt and maple syrup. Bring to the boil and simmer until everything’s nice and soft (usually only takes about 5 mins).
- Stir in your Beauty Collagen and spoon your cooked mixture into bowls. Top with walnuts, one last dash of cinnamon and maple syrup.
Tip: Feel free to use any nut milk, oat milk or even water in place of the almond milk.
