Now we are considerate of those who are allergic to peanuts or just don’t fall into the ‘nuts about peanuts’ category so don’t be dismayed – you could easily swap the peanut butter in this smoothie bowl for natural almond butter, cashew butter, or hazelnut butter. Your variations are endless and we strongly encourage you to proceed with the recipe, for the sake of your tastebuds.

Smoothie bowls are an excellent choice for breakfast when you’re feeling like something extra filling compared to your regular smoothies. The thicker the consistency the better we say. Plus they’re just so easy to make! If you’re short on time or just wanting something delicious for breakfast then smoothie bowls really are a staple. Choc Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie Bowl Recipe

To start, blend your smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy (this shouldn’t take too long) then pour into your serving bowl. Depending on what consistency you like, add 1 cup of coconut milk then blend and assess. Slowly add the rest of the coconut milk until you reach your desired thickness. Now for the fun part- the toppings! We went with a natural peanut butter, hazelnuts, coconut flakes plus our favourite Goji Antiox Wholegrain Toasted Muesli. If you’re gluten free, not to worry, our Gluten Free Tropical Digest Muesli will also be perfectly delicious as a gluten free alternative.

INGREDIENTS

SMOOTHIE BOWL

3 frozen bananas

2 cups coconut milk

2 scoops Morlife Plantiful Protein

1 tsp. Morlife Certified Organic Cacao Powder

2 tbsp natural peanut butter

TOPPINGS

1 tbsp natural peanut butter

Handful hazelnuts

Handful Coconut flakes

3 tbsp Morlife Goji Antiox Toasted Muesli

3 Double Chocolate Cacao Protein Balls

 

STEP BY STEP

  1. Combine and blend smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender until smooth in a high-powered blender or food processor. Pour into a small bowl.
  2. Top with topping ingredients and serve. Eat immediately.
