Features a combination of Rice, Hemp, Pumpkin & Fava Protein for a complete amino acid profile

We believe that eating a variety of plant-based protein sources is important for optimal health. Just as we recommend eating a variety of fruits and vegetables to get all the nutrients you need, we also recommend eating a variety of plant-based proteins to get all the amino acids you need. Plant-based proteins have different amino acid compositions than animal proteins, however, when combined, plant-based proteins can provide a balanced and complete amino acid profile. This means that you can get all the amino acids your body needs from plant-based sources alone.

Made without pea protein

Not all plant-based proteins are created equal. Some are harder to digest than others, and we have found pea protein is one of the offenders. It's common to experience bloating and gas after taking pea protein. That's why we made sure to create Plantiful Protein as a blend of brown rice, hemp, pumpkin seed, and fava bean protein, which is easier to digest for people with sensitive stomachs.

Fortified with iron and zinc

Zinc and iron are essential minerals for a wide variety of actions within the body. Both minerals can come from plant or animal sources; however plant-based sources are not only lower in zinc and iron but also more difficult to digest. For this reason, vegans and vegetarians are at increased risk of zinc and iron deficiency. Rice protein powder naturally contains high levels of iron; but we also fortified Plantiful Protein with zinc and iron to reduce the risk of deficiency for those following this diet.

Includes vitamin B12 & vitamin D

Our vegan protein powder has also been fortified with Vitamin B12 and D, as these are common deficiencies in those following a vegan diet.

Naturally sweetened

We use monk fruit extract to sweeten Plantiful Protein because it is a natural, low-calorie sweetener with a clean, sweet taste. Monk fruit extract is derived from the fruit, monk fruit, also known as Luo Han Guo, which is a small, green gourd-like fruit. Monk fruit’s sweetness comes from naturally occurring antioxidants called ‘mogrosides’. In monk fruit extract, these mogrosides have been concentrated by the method of extraction, which leaves us with an extremely sweet ingredient that is very low in calories and doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste like some artificial sweeteners or other natural sweeteners, such as Stevia.

Made without artificial flavours, colours and sweeteners

We do not use any artificial sweeteners, flavours or colours in Plantiful Protein so you can enjoy it guilt-free!

Complete protein source

Plantiful Protein is a complete protein. It is a blend of four plant-based proteins: brown rice protein, hemp protein, pumpkin seed protein, and fava bean protein. Each of these proteins has a different amino acid profile, but when combined, they provide a complete amino acid profile, which means that they contain all nine essential amino acids. The amino acid content can be found on the packaging for your information.
