You Will Need:

  • 2 Tbsp. (26 g) Double Choc Mug Cake Mix
  • 1 Tsp. (5 mL) Rice Malt Syrup
  • 1 Egg, whisked

Directions:

  1. Combine the mug cake mix and wet ingredients in a microwave safe mug. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Place in the microwave for 40 seconds~.
  3. Remove from the microwave (caution mug will be hot) and allow to cool slightly. Best enjoyed while hot. 

~Cooking times vary between microwaves.

It was ok

I made it in the oven (as I don't have a microwave) and it was a bit dry, not sweet enough for me and basically just a sponge cake in a cup. It was ok but I'd prefer a more dense 'lava cake' consistency

As the product is designed to be made in a microwave, cooking it in the oven may have changed the consistency of the product. We do recommend that you follow the instructions and use a microwave to get a more accurate result however we understand you do not have one.
