If you’re looking for a delicious high protein breakfast (or indulgent snack), our Health with Bec x Morlife Mug Cakes are the perfect option to add to your pantry.  Simply scoop out a serve of the Mug Cake Mix, add egg white and water, mix it all together and pop it in the microwave! In just a few minutes, you will have a mouth-watering mug cake ready to eat. You Will Need:

  • 45 g (approx. 1/3 cup) Chocolate Mug Cake Mix
  • ¼ cup (62.5 mL) Water (+ 1 Tbsp. if too dry)
  • 1 Egg White (approx. 36 g)*

Directions:

  1. Stir to combine the mug cake mix with the wet ingredients in a microwave safe mug. Mix thoroughly. Adding in extra water as required if the mix is too dry.
  2. Place in the microwave for 120 seconds +/- 20 seconds~. This works best at 600-700W or use medium power.
  3. Remove from the microwave (caution mug will be hot) and allow to cool for a few minutes, it will continue to cook in the mug. Best enjoyed while hot. 

~Cooking times may vary between microwaves.

For an egg-free alternative (vegan):
Add ¼ cup of water + 1-2 Tbsp Coconut oil and increase cooking time by 20-30 seconds.
