Coming to you from paradise in Byron Bay, let's make a poolside smoothie bowl!
First up: Did you know it’s so easy to make your own almond milk? Just pop a handful of almonds in a glass of water overnight. Rinse to remove the phytic acid, then add fresh water and blend. You can drain the fibre bits from the almonds to use in treats and cakes or you can leave them in like I do to add even more fibre to my smoothie bowl! Of course if you don't have time to make your own nut milk, store bought will totally do the trick.
1 cup of frozen berries (any kind or even a mix)
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of Morlife® Berry Deluxe Beauty Antiox
Your choice of sweetener (I use Morlife® Certified Organic Monk Fruit, but you can use any sweetener to suit you. To be honest, it probably doesn't even need it.)
Pinch of cinnamon
1 cup of milk alternative (oat, coconut, macadamia or the homemade almond milk recipe I shared above)
Top with seeds, granola, desiccated coconut and whatever berry you can get your hands on. Edible flowers too if you can source them.
- Blend all ingredients together.
- Jump in the pool or beach to enjoy!
