2 x 400g cans of chickpeas (reserve the liquid and a few chickpeas for decoration)
4 tsp. tahini
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp. sea salt (or to taste)
6 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Optional: paprika powder and chopped fresh flat leaf parsley for decoration
1. Add chickpeas, tahini, garlic cloves, salt, lemon juice, maca powder and eight tablespoons of the reserved liquid from the cans to the food processor.
2. Turn on the food processor and slowly add the olive oil.
3. Blend until mixture is smooth.
4. For decoration use paprika and/or flat leaf parsley.
