Put Your Best Face Forward With This All Natural Face Toner
Before glamming yourself up you’ll want a clean and smooth base to work with! This Green Tea Face Toner is the perfect solution to tone the skin after cleansing. It will help gently remove any dirt or toxins you might have missed after cleansing and leave your skin fresh and clean.
For the base of our toner, we’ve used 1 cup of water which has been infused with 2 of our very own Morlife Emperor Green Teabags. You’ll want to allow the teabags to steep for at least 5 minutes before removing them. The benefits of the green tea in the toner will help increase the skins elasticity leaving your skin fresh and youthful and provide antioxidants.
Honey is known as antibacterial which will help clean the pores. We’ve also added lemon juice for its beneficial effects on the skin, it will help brighten and tone.
When adding in the baking soda you will notice the mixture start to fizx and form foam, don’t worry this is normal and the nature of the baking soda itself. It acts as an exfoliator and cleanser to help gently remove dead skin cells, oil or dirt.
We stored our toner in a refillable travel bottle which can easily be found at any discount store or chemist. To apply it, we recommend using a cotton ball or pad for easier application. Use daily or twice daily and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
GREEN TEA FACE TONER

MAKES: 1-2 bottles
INGREDIENTS
2 Morlife Emperor Green Teabags
1 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. baking soda
STEP BY STEP
- Brew the Morlife teabags in 1 cup of boiling water, allow to steep for 5 minutes then remove teabag.
- Add the lemon juice, honey and baking soda and allow to cool to room temperature. Add the baking soda gradually to avoid any overflow from the fizz!
- Transfer to a reusable bottle for storing.
- Apply to the face and neck using cotton pads to cleanse pores. Enjoy freshly toned and clean skin!
