Raw salted caramel squares

BASE

1 cups oats

1 cup almond meal

1 cup desiccated coconut

1 cup natural cashews

½ cup rice malt syrup

1 ½ tbsp coconut paste

Dash salt

CARAMEL

2 cups pitted dates soaked in boiling water for at least 2 hours-

1 tsp vanilla flavour

1 tbsp Morlife Coconut Water powder

1 tbsp softened coconut paste

Pinch salt

TOPPING

Melt 1 cup of dk chocolate buttons and drizzle on top or cover the whole top but would needs more chocolate buttons

Garnish with fig/blueberries

1) Mix all base dry ingredients in a blender until almost powder

2) Add the liquid ingredients in the end until well combined and pasty

3) Press into a slice thin lined with baking paper and freeze

4) Drain the dates off with the water and combine all other ingredients until smooth. If too sticky to blend in the processor then mix well by hand.

5) Spread caramel mixture over base and drizzle with melted chocolate before putting in freezer

6)Remove from freezer and cut into square shapes and serve
