Your morning routine is about to get a whole lot easier thanks to this super easy Turmeric Latte Overnight Porridge. The only thing you'll have to do the next morning is grab a spoon! This overnight porridge features our new Turmeric Latte powder mix, which is an enchanting turmeric blend with functional ingredients, prebiotic fibres, ginger extract and black pepper extract.
Gluten free and vegan, this easy-peasy recipe is ideal for everyone. For the base of our recipe, we’ve used quinoa flakes which are the perfect gluten free substitute for oats. Quinoa Flakes also provide a source of fibre and have a subtle nutty flavour, making them delicious with almost anything! Before you start, make sure you have a mason jar on hand, especially if you want your breakfast to be portable! If not, a large mug could easily do, and just cover with cling wrap.
Place all your ingredients in the jar, we’ve gone with coconut milk and yoghurt as it compliments our Turmeric Latte perfectly. For our fruit source we’ve used banana, but dates would also taste great. Once you’ve added everything in, make sure you stir them thoroughly so nothing sticks to the glass. If you’ve got a lid, give it a good shake. Leave in the fridge overnight and enjoy in the morning! If you would like some extra sweetness, you can drizzle maple syrup or honey on top.
TURMERIC LATTE OVERNIGHT QUINOA PORRIDGE
PREP TIME: 10 min
SET TIME: Overnight (or at least 4 hrs)
¾ cups coconut milk
1/3 cup Quinoa Flakes
2 tbsp Morlife Chia Seeds
2 level tsp. Morlife Turmeric Latte
2 tbsp walnuts, roughly chopped
2 tbsp coconut yoghurt
½ banana, sliced
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
STEP BY STEP
- Place all ingredients into a resealable jar or mason jar, stir well to ensure nothing sticks to the glass.
- Place in the fridge overnight and enjoy for breakfast the next morning.
